Slipways: A Safe Way To Manage Boats And Jet Skis
A slipway is a structure on the shore by which boats and jet skis can be moved to and from the water. There are numerous types of slipways, however, it is generally a plain ramp made of concrete, steel, stone or even wood. A slipway is also known as a boat or launching ramp.
The ramp is usually constructed inside marine boundaries. To ensure it does not cause adverse effects on tidal currents, it is important to study the surroundings. It is not unusual for a slipway to be located on a sandy beach area. Ecocoast has already designed slipways for different marinas in the UAE. Feel free to get in touch to know more.
